Fix Guys Service respects your privacy rights and provides all users with the ability to request deletion of their personal data from our platform. This policy explains how you can submit a data deletion request and how your information will be handled.

1. Your Right to Request Data Deletion

Under applicable privacy laws (such as GDPR, CCPA, and global data protection standards), you have the right to request:

  • Deletion of your personal data

  • Removal of your account

  • Removal of associated booking history

  • Removal of uploaded documents, profile photos, and personal identifiers

Fix Guys Service will process these requests in a secure and timely manner.

2. What Data Can Be Deleted

When you request the deletion of your data, the following information is permanently removed:

2.1 Account Information

  • Name, email, phone number

  • Profile details

  • Address or location data

2.2 Booking & Service History

  • Past bookings

  • Transaction details (where permitted by law)

  • Communication logs with providers or customers

2.3 Media & Documents

  • Profile images

  • Verification documents

  • Uploaded files

2.4 App & Website Usage Data

  • Device information

  • Preferences

  • Saved settings

Certain financial records may be retained only if required by law (see Section 4).

3. What Data Cannot Be Deleted Immediately

To comply with financial, tax, and legal obligations, Fix Guys Service may be required to retain limited information, such as:

  • Completed booking receipts

  • Payment transaction IDs

  • Fraud prevention records

  • Security logs

These records are kept for the minimum retention period required by law (typically 6–24 months).

This data cannot be used to identify you after deletion because your personal identifiers are removed.

4. How to Submit a Data Deletion Request

To request deletion of your data:

Option 1: Email Request

Send an email to:

Include the following:

  • Full name

  • Email associated with your account

  • Phone number (optional)

  • State that you want your account and data permanently deleted

Option 2: In-App Request

If available in the mobile app:

  • Open Settings

  • Tap Privacy

  • Select Delete My Data or Delete My Account

Option 3: Web Form (if enabled)

If the Fix Guys Service website provides a privacy form, you may submit your request online.

5. Verification Process

For security reasons, Fix Guys Service may verify your identity before deleting your data.

You may be asked to confirm:

  • Email verification

  • Code sent to your phone

  • Identity question related to your account

If we cannot verify your identity, we may decline the request to prevent unauthorized deletion.

6. Timeline for Data Deletion

Fix Guys Service processes all valid data deletion requests within:

  • 7–30 business days, depending on the volume and complexity

  • Some transactional records may be anonymized rather than deleted immediately

You will receive a confirmation email when the deletion is complete.

7. Effects of Data Deletion

Once your data is deleted:

  • Your account cannot be restored

  • Booking history and reviews are permanently removed

  • Providers or customers will no longer have access to your profile

  • Any active bookings will be cancelled

This action is permanent and irreversible.
